GPOY
I woke up late. Six hour shift. I was washing a knife at work and I almost cut my index finger off. It bled for fifteen minutes straight, I swear. I went through three band-aids.
Sexy Coworker has been gone all week. Apparently he injured his shoulder. Which sucks, because when he’s not there, work is extremely boring.
I’ve taken two days in a row off from running. No injuries or anything. I just haven’t been great at managing time lately.
I think my goal for the rest of this month will be to get more than four hours of sleep per night.
That’ll do wonders.
Tonight I witnessed a raccoon grab an empty carton of soy milk from the recycling bin and proceed to tear it open and lick the insides clean. He was obviously hungry so I opened the door and rolled an apple across the balcony, which he managed to grasp in his jaws (once they were opened to almost 180 degrees). He then climbed up a tree and devoured the entire thing.
Also, work was busy and I made small talk with the hot guy. :0
from the back of my closet, and of course they didn’t fit.
When I couldn’t bring them past my mid-thigh, I just started laughing.
Had this happened when I was bulimic, I would probably not eat anything until they fit me. Yeah.
But then I realised, I would much rather keep my big runner’s booty than be able to fit into a pair of jeans from when I was 14.
NSV.
OMG u guise my morning was full of win!
JUST kidding. I will never use the phrase “full of win” seriously.
But honestly - a yoga morning is an awesome morning.
After just one day of not doing a single thing.
I’m really taking to rest weekends. Five days of going hard, and then becoming a stone for 48 hours.
Monday’s run will most likely be excellent.
I mean, eating itself is more enjoyable after a run. Food tastes better.
But I know it must be done.
I hate to admit it, but I’ve been avoiding all forms of speedwork for like, ever.
But that’s about to end.
Repeats may totally SUCK, but they’re awesome for making PRs.
So I’ve added in a good amount of speedwork for the following weeks, and I anticipate dread, but I know how accomplished I’ll feel after doing them.
800 meter repeats, I’m coming after you.
I don’t know if coconut milk creamer will taste good in this… but I’m taking a risk.
Afterwards, it’s yoga time!
Blisters are forming as I type.
Got an Amazon gift card… oh, the possibilities.
I’ve never bought it before because it’s an outrageous $7.60 a can, but today it was on clearance. Whenever I try it I will be sure to do an update…
but I’ll probably be going to bed soon.
I woke up at 2 a.m. This is probably why I’ve been struggling to keep my eyes open.
When I finally get my sleeping cycle sorted out, there’s no way I’m going back to this.
And I feel so good.
A vegan root beer float sounds like just the thing I need.
This has proven true 99 percent of the time.
Today I ran to blow off steam from the disappointing contents of my mailbox. I’m still waiting for like 9 CDs… nothing came.
So I run, and it’s strangely exciting and exhausting simultaneously.
And then I check my email and I got a reply to this lady about my grades on my graduation speech.
I got a 100.
And one of my CDs confirmed that it FINALLY shipped.
So if you’re ever in a rut, run it out. Not like I didn’t know this already, but it’s a nice reminder.
